On July 28, I sent you the answer below, in reaction to your mail.
The point was that I did receive an email concerning the expiration of my trial subscription, as you said would happen.
However, this email did not contain any information about “How to cancel your subscription”, as you imply in your mail. So it was still not possibel to cancel.
I now realise that you have not answered to my reply of july 28. Today it is the 31st.
Perhaps i did something wrong, I don't know.
But I really want to cancel my trial subscription!
I would be grateful if you send my an email which does contain this information, or a link I can use, so I will be able to cancel in time.
Otherwise, I hope you will and can treat this email as a request to end my trial subscription, and cancel it.
I do hope you let me know what will happen next.

Unfortunately, we didn't receive your reply to our email on July 28th.
However, upon checking your account, we're unable to find any trial subscription. The renewal notification email that you got would contain the order ID. As it isn't recommended to share the order details over this public post, we've sent you an email requesting the info. Please revert to us via email.

Unfortunately, there isn't an option available in AVG MyAccount to cancel auto-renewal service for trial orders. However, you will be receiving a reminder e-mail 10 days prior to the expiry date of trial subscription. This email contains information on "How to cancel your subscription" before being charged by AVG.
We couldn't locate any trial orders under the e-mail address you used to contact us here. If you wish to check the status, do provide us with the requested information in the e-mail which we sent. If the e-mail is not found in your inbox, do check your spam/junk folders as well. Thank you.
At the moment I am using the free subscription of AVG Tune up, to try it out. It will soon expire, and I want to unsubscribe. But I cannot find any information on the website on how to manage this. What do I have to do to unsubscribe from this free subscription? Or does it end automatically? I do not want to be forced to use a paid version.

I did not receive a 'renewal notification email', neither in my inbox nor in my spambox. What does such an email look like? When did you send it?
Nor did I receive the email in which you 'request for info'. I understand that this is not a safe environment for sharing personal data, but if I do not receive your emails, and you appparantly cannot unsubscirbe me, I don't know what to do. You do have my email address, beacause I received various other mails.
Please help me out. Why is it so difficult to unsubscribe from a trial subscription?

This morning I replied to your email, and I wrote the order ID in the email.
Hopefully, everything will turn out ok now and you will end my trial subscription in time, before I will be forced to use a paid subscription.

Petra, we did receive your email and able to see the order ID information.
We've cancelled the automatic renewal of AVG TuneUp - Unlimited (60 day trial) and a confirmation email regarding this has been sent to your registered email address (which is different than the one you used to contact us here).
I've also answered your other queries in a reply to the email in which you shared the order ID. Please check your inbox and spam box as well for this email and let us know if you did not receive it.
