Free trial AVG PC TuneUp won't open

I just saw your response to this exact problem from another user, and your response still wasn't helpful.

It won't open for me too... I tried uninstalling and reinstalling, I've tried repairing it, and I have tried scanning my computer for hidden viruses or bugs. I have tried opening it from withing AVG antivirus and I've tried the shortcut on my desktop. None of it worked. It just won't open.

And before you ask me to take a screenshot of the error message, there isn't one. Nothing happens, it just doesn't open. Please actually help with this. If I can't use the software I am just going to switch to a better brand.

I just downloaded the free trial of AVG PC TuneUp and restarted the computer as directed.  I see the application, but it won't open.  I've tried double clicking, right clicking, then clicking Open, and Run as Administrator.  Nothing works.  Any suggestions?
