Hello Monty,

We request you to open AVG Internet Security program window.
Click on Menu - Settings - Full protection - Firewall - Below 'for apps with no defined rules' choose 'Auto decide' from drop down box.
Once it is done, AVG firewall will auto decide the permission and you wouldn't get repeated notification to allow access.

I know this is a service of AVG and it is for good reason. There have been some recent Microsoft updates and I now am getting many requests from AVG popup to allow or deny. This has been going on
everyday and sometimes popups are 1-2 minutes apart. Hard to get anything done as trying to keep the screen clear. I have tried allowing each time  and denying each time and pressing ok each time and the same Microsoft , Skype  popups keep coming back. I have gone to community support and reviewed the details there so I have some knowledge of where to go. On the Microsoft elements there are some blocked ones. I do not know if AVG has blocked or I may have inadvertently blocked.
If I were to unblock would this stop the popups. Microsoft is sneaky they keep trying to horn in on Chrome. It usually happens around one of there updates. Any advice out there? Thanks

I can get as far as the Full Protection tab, but then there is no Firewall option.

However, we'd like to clarify that Firewall has been moved under basic protection in the latest version.
