Frozen word documents

AVG had frozen all my word documents. Now they can be opened but cannot be changed as they are labeled with ‘only reading’. As I live in Holland I can only ring a number in the UK. How can I undo this label?

We'll help you to get this issue fixed. Please share us the screenshot of the word document to verify and assist you further. Also we suggest you to turn off the AVG Internet Security program and check if it is working fine.

1. Right-click the AVG icon in the system tray next to the clock.
2. Move the slider to turn off AVG protection temporarily.

Alright, are you getting any error message from AVG? Please share us the screenshot of the Word file to verify and assist you further.

Thanks but all documents cannot be changed.
