AVG AntiTrack is a privacy application designed to keep your identity safe from the latest online tracking techniques.
AVG AntiTrack injects fake information into the data that makes up your digital fingerprint. This action changes what information trackers and third parties can see about you.
AVG AntiTrack also clears tracking cookies and browsing data from your browser.
This feature is not available with your AVG Internet Security program. You can disable this campaign pop up by following the below steps:
Open AVG Internet Security > Menu > Settings > General > Privacy > uncheck both "show offers for our other products" and "show offers for 3rd party products"
I have "basic" and "full protection" of AVG Security. A notice at the top of the AVG screen says "Fully Protected"
A notice at the bottom tells me I am leaving "crumbs", a technical term I presume, all over the web. How can I be if I am fully protected. I try to fix it by clicking on the box and the system offers to sell me components of AVG I already have! I try to buy the anti tracking, but it gets into a loop on the selection of product and payment screen. Am I the ony person frustrated with this software!
I freely admit I am a non techie. I have been using it for 2 years, so I thought renewing subscrption would be easy and idiot friendly.
