Full scan stuck?

We are uncertain about the scan you have initiated using AVG Internet Security. Did you perform a Quick scan by clicking 'Scan Computer' on the user interface of AVG Internet Security? Are you referring to Deep scan?
If you could provide us with the screenshot of the scan page, we will be able to check and clarify this further. You can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on "Answer" & then click on the "Image" [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.

I am running a full scan on my husband's laptop and it has taken over two hours and is only at 10%, could it be stuck?  What should I do?

Yes, I scanned computer doing the longer version  of the AVG scan which got stuck around 10%.  I restarted the computer several times to get the scan to stop.  I finally resolved the problem by running a malware scan.

When is was scanning, only thing showing was the Dell logo and 10% and the scroll circle showing it was doing something.
