Fullscreen problem

Hello, Damian.

May I know if you had re installed AVG and the issue persist? If yes, please provide us with a screenshot ( http://avgclick.me/getscreenshot ) of the pop up that you receive. Please also let us know if it is a free version or a trial version of AVG that you were using.
Hello Damian,

Sorry for the delay in responding. I would request you to run the AVG Clear tool mentioned in this article
http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=How-to-troubleshoot-issues-after-upgrade-to-the-latest-AVG-antivirus-product. After the restart, reinstall AVG Free (http://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Download-and-install-AVG-AntiVirus-Free) and change the popup settings  (AVG >  Menu> Settings > General > Popup > uncheck "show the popup for other AVG products").

Also, please enable the Game mode from AVG > Menu > Settings > General > Manage Main settings> Enable Game mode. (This option is disabled by default).

If the issue still persists, please provide the required screenshot of the popup to escalate the case further.

I've been having a certain problem for a very long time and I guess it is finally time for me to ask for a possible solution for it… The program keeps redirecting me to desktop like every hour or so when using fullscreen applications. The same happens with for example Google Chrome (the window loses focus). The problem is in the AVG's popups that happen every so often, because once i uninstalled the antivirus the problem disappeared. I personally don't mind the popups, but the fact that they close the fullscreen when I'm doing important things just infuriates me. Is there a way to make them stop doing that?

Yes, I have reinstalled the avg and the issue is still there. I am using the free edition of this antivirus. As for the pop up, i can't really capture it because it's not there after the fullscreen mode closes. I'm just certain it is happening because of it, cause like I said the issue wasn't there after I completely uninstalled the program and I can't really see any other reason of it. The only time I've seen the pop up ever was when browsing web once, and I am pretty sure it had something to do with the internet protection. That's about as much information as I have on this...
