Hi Linda.
Please have a look at this article for more information on AVG product's compatibility with latest MacOS version.

MAC has informed me that MAC OS Catalina will be the last MAC OS to fully support the legacy system extensions present in AVG anti-virus.  They said to get in touch with AVG to get them to resolve this…but HOW?
