Well the verion I was running was 16.151.8013
But being it was so painful, I had ended up uninstalling the whole AVG program and reinstalled - that seem to have solved that issue but still does not give me the real answer as to why it stopped working all together after using it for best of a year without any problems.
However, now with the newer version when i ran it for its first scan etc - it did the BROWSER SCAN no problem but then started the ROOTDISK SCAN and locked up at 6% and basically did nothing for like 5 hours (whilst i was sleeping - so wasnt even using the computer)… And another bonus the PC TUNEUP is also saying 'An unknown issue has prevented PC TuneUp from installing - was the error code: 0xc0070652 WTF is this error???
HELP… this is driving me nuts, thinking i solved the first issue only to now have 2 new ones…

I apologize for the inconvenience caused. May I know which version of AVG is installed on your PC? Please go to control panel->Programs & features->Uninstall a program and let us know what AVG entries do you see in the list.
turned my computer on and have NO AVG systems operational everything is OFF, have tried turning them on without any luck and even tried a REPAIR - but now has also an issue Description :general error (0x0781), Error code 0xC0070781....
Help does anyone know how to solve this or had same issue???
