I am seriously getting sick of the popup about Generic Threat detection…even when I opened this page.  I just got 15 threats detected and they are all generic.  And now it will not let me onto Google.  I am ready to uninstall AVG and ask for a refund.  Okay…when I just attempted to post this question it detected a threat.  What the *&^% is going on???

Teri, For your info, just in case that you are unaware, you can post the screenshot here in your topic. Click on 'Answer' & then click on the 'Image' [mountain symbol] & follow the instructions.
