I just wasted time posting this entire question in the support area only to have it patch me over here but instead of keeping the question it just blows it away, gone. Thanks for that. I tried explaining this in Chat but they were not understanding, they just referred me to the settings area.
A recent update to the AVG Antivirus FREE version added a large blue circle OVER the system tray icon. The circle is too large, and it doesn't go away. It forces you to open the program to clear the notification, and even then it doesn't always go away. I like letting the notifications for the DAILY virus scan accumulate, then clear them all at some point once a week or whatever. So now there is a blue circle annoying the whole week.
There needs to be a setting to disable to blue circle entirely.
Also, make the circle less obtrusive, maybe just a small icon on the corner of the system tray avg icon.
And there is a bug, I cleared all the messages and it has not gone away.
