Hi Eleri,
We understand your concern.
When you sign up for the 60 day trial, the auto renewal will be enabled by default.
We will send you the pre billing notification before the charge. It will also contain the information to cancel the auto renewal.
The auto renewal for all your subscription has been already cancelled. Therefore, you won't be charged in the future after the expiration of the product.
Let us know, if you need further help.
This has only happened with AVG Antitrack so far, but I guess it will probably happen with the other software too. I got an email telling me my subscription will run out (i've unsubscribed from everything to make sure it doesn't renew without me knowing).
It reads:
Your AVG AntiTrack (30-day Trial) expires on 3 September 2020. Renew now to continue your protection.
Yet below it, the billing details are listed, and it reads:
Order Information
Orginal Order Date: 3 August 2020
Subscription expires: 3 September 2020
Billing amount: £34.99
Why am I being billed £34.99 for a trial which I was told is free? When I got this trial, it definitely told me it was free. I did not sign up to spend £34.99 on a trial…
Ah okay, thank you so much for letting me know! I was so scared that i was going to be billed without renewing haha
