Getting my money back

Having had avg uninstalled by a microsoft engineer I thought that was the end of it. However I had a notice of payment due in Febrary I clicked on the unsubscribe. The I found my credit card had been charged £44.99 even though I no longer have the product on my computer. I want a refund please and soon . This is unacceptable.

We acknowledge your refund request. The cancellation of auto renewal status will get effective if you cancel it before 45 days. Else, it will  be applied for next renewal.

We have initiated refund for this renewal product. Once we finish our internal refund procedure, the transaction will be processed by the payment operator. You will receive additional confirmation in a separate e-mail from avg.cs@digitalriver.com.

If you have not received the separate email, please check your junk or spam mail filters.

Please take a note that the exact time the refunded amount will reach your account depends on payment operators, therefore we can no longer influence this process.
