Getting rid of Man in the Middle Attack

How do I know when I have solved this problem?
And why won’t AVG Delete certain items that show up in red? It deletes the green ones but not the ones in red letters.

Hi Fernando,
You're connected with AVG support and we'd be glad to help you.
It looks like you must have installed Bogus software along with some adware application. We suggest you to uninstall Bogus software and the unknown applications from your device to prevent this from happening again.
Resetting browsers to default settings will fix the issues you had with internet surfing. Windows defender is a component come up with your operating system by default. If you install any AntiVirus application, Windows defender will get disabled. The same has happened in your case and your AVG AntiVirus should be active in your computer now.
Please perform a quick scan on the main user interface of AVG AntiVirus to detect and delete the emerging threats.
Regarding the third party VPN you installed on iOS device, we suggest to contact their support to resolve the issue.
Thank you for your understanding in advance! If we can be of more help, never hesitate to let us know.

Hello, I installed a bogus software on my desktop PC that I downloaded from the internet as a torrent file and well, it’s messed up a bunch of things. I’m currently writing this through my iPhone.

My Bluetooth is disabled and can’t get an option to get it turned on again, and my mouse and keyboard are both wireless. I do have wired ones.

When I open up Photoshop it tells me that the ram is like 512 MB or something…instead of 64GB. Very strange.

The Google Home Page no longer said www.google.com but rather www.google.com/$:82’xhrj or some gibberish that I don’t remember at this time. But you get the drill, it’s a fake google homepage obviously.

Opening my browsers now takes like ten extra seconds, when normally it takes two.

I’ve installed the free AVG scanner and it does find quarantine items and some of them get wiped away, others don’t, others do but keep popping up.

The only reason I discovered what a “Man in the middle” attack means is because MEGAUPLOAD popped a message on the taskbar telling me I may be under such an attack.

I just tried using a VPN on my iPhone but it immediately drops my WiFi, and does not allow the VPN to connect, the VPN is called KeepSolid, I’ve used them before. Anyway I deleted the app from my phone and now the WiFi is back.

Back to the desktop PC, I feel like it recognizes when I’m trying to do some sort of antivirus related task and it doesn’t let it load. It also won’t let the Windows defender antivirus show up, the option is gone.

I’m very worried, how do I get rid of it and how do I protect myself if this won’t let me get rid of viruses or install VPNs??

Thank you very much to whoever attempts to help.

-Fernando.
