Gmail and Google not loading on XP, but wifi devices work

Hi All.

I have an XP PC that started giving troubles a month ago. I cant log in to my Gmail, or search anything on Google. My cellphone works on wifi on the same network without any problems. after searching on Yahoo, i tried malware bytes, Avast… tried many different settings, flush DNS, some fixes worked temporarily but still have issues.

Have been using AVG always, now reinstalled cos it seems to be a virus or malware only on this PC.

Help please .

Are you using the free, trial or paid version of AVG?
If you have installed AVG Antivirus free program, please try disabling it as mentioned (here) to check whether it resolves the issue in accessing Google and Gmail.

It mentions that the feature is only available to Windows 7 and after, I'm using XP.

Ebrahim, 

In this case, please Right-click the AVG icon in the system tray next to the clock. Turn off the protection temporarily and check if you are able to access the Chrome browser.
