How Can I used my AVG Software to Detect and Remove the adware assocaited with "feed.snapdo" that continually hijacks my google chrome settings.

Keeping in mind that I do NOT have any shopping assistance software, I do not have any programs that contain "feed.snapdo" - I have gone into the registry to disable the toolbar, I have followed just about every "post" on line to locate, disable and remove this adware and it keeps coming back, trying to force itself as my google chrome homepage; (but is disabled so it does not fully load - it just locks up my Chrome web-pages.  How do I utilize my AVG, AVG Zen, etc. to specifically locate and remove this adware?

Hello Jeff,
Please note that these kind of tool bars and search engines get into the computer along with some other software or if we visit any untrustworthy websites accidentally. I would request you to uninstall unknown add ons from your web browsers. Please right click on the desktop shortcuts of your web browsers, click on Properties, check the 'Target' field. It should be “C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe” for IE and “C:\Program Files (x86)\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe”  for Chrome. Please check and remove if any other text is added to this path. Thank you.
