Google Chrome Privacy error

Since a few days, I get a security notification, each time I try to open any site, telling me that that site uses an old TLS version and there server should use the TLS 1.2 or higher version instead.

I have the impression that it's mostly when accessing google.com, either explicitly mentioning the url or when I use some search keywords in the URL-field in Chrome.

I found something on Chrome and TLS 1.2 in e.g https://help.hotschedules.com/hc/en-us/articles/360020184072-Enabling-TLS-1-2-on-web-browsers#Chrome, but in my Chrome version, I can not get into the Advanced Security settings as shown in on the page.

Thanks for your quick help

Thank you for sharing us the screenshot, Marleen.
It seems to be an issue with the Chrome settings. You can open the internet properties by typing inetcpl.cpl in runline command to enable TLS.
To get run command, press windows key & R key together.

Hi Dinesh,

Bingo.  It seems to work know, but … TSL 1.0, 1.1 & 1.2 where ticked.  TSL1.3 (experimental) not.  I removed the tick from 1.0 & 1.1 and kept the 1.2.  I did some tests with Chrome for site that gave the errors and al seemed to work fine.

Many thanks for your good & quick support.

Best regards

Marleen
