I'm not sure. The AVG message box about needing to reboot just suddenly appeared on the monitor screen, so I did. I assumed it was an update of the AVG free protection, but I do not know for sure. Just to let you know, I had this issue also last week. That time, all I had to do then was uncheck the compatibility box in Google Chrome desktop icon Properties to get it to work again. For all I know this last incidence may be just a coincidence; Google Chrome may have updated also. I have the computer set so that I don't see those updates; they are automatic.
