To add google chrome shortcuts, please follow the below steps:
1. Open your Google Chrome app.
2. Go to the address of the web application. …
3. Then select the options to the right of the url bar (push on the three small dots); select "add to homepage".
4. Then quit your internet browser.
This is how you added the current shortcuts to your "Google" home page.

For the life of me, I cannot remember  how I added the current shortcuts to my "Google" home page. 

Any suggestions

In Google chrome browser, you will be able to see three small dots at the right top corner and please click on it.
Then you will see all the bookmarks added to your chrome browser.

Unfortunately I do not have an option in the pulldown to " Add to Home Page"
