Great Removal Tool

Hi, Paul.
We regret for any inconvenience caused. We can together look into the issue and resolve it. It is highly unlikely that AVG PC TuneUp blocks you from connecting to WiFi (unless it is running in airplane mode). If AVG PC TuneUp is still installed on your PC, please make sure it is not running in airplane mode.

And, please provide the web address from where you downloaded the remover tool.

Great tool you guys provide. It doesn’t even recognize the product that’s installed. No wonder none of your ‘help’ helped. Still cut off from WiFi because of AVG TuneUp.

We apologize for the inconvenience caused.

Are you able to access WiFi after removing the AVG PC TuneUp program from your PC?

Please let us know the status of the issue to help you further.

Yes, if the issue was due to AVG PC Tune Up, the problem should have got resolved when you uninstalled it.
When you try to connect via Wifi, do you get any message from windows?

Ok, so the problem occurred immediately after running TuneUp and you claim that had nothing to do with it? Great.
No, no message from windows. WiFi works fine on all devices not infected with an AVG product.

It is absolutely AVG Tuneup that f’d up my WiFi. It worked…forever, and immediately after installing TuneUp it stopped working. I downloaded the clean up tool from the link given to me on this forum, look up the answer yourself. Thanks a lot for your ‘answer’ it was every bit as helpful as your product.

No. I uninstalled using XP Add/Remove Programs. Then ran your removal ‘tool’ but since it said there were no AVG products on my laptop when there was one, can’t be sure it did anything.
So, out of the millions? hundreds of thousands? of users you’ve had, I am the absolute first one to have this issue???

Paul, we actually meant that it should have got resolved when you uninstalled PC TuneUp as it would revert the changes.
Could you check what is the status for wireless network on your PC?
