Guild Wars 2 Issues

The link you posted discusses "Identity Protection is inactive'. However I did go into frewall and add the application. This does not appear to have helped any as I am still experiencing the lag.

I recently began playing Guild Wars 2 and have noticed that I am hit by massive lag/ping any time I play, which results in being disconnected. I contacted GW2 support and they walked me through steps to troubleshoot. They found packet loss and found AVG to be the cause. They had me add a rule to my Firewall settings: "For protocol TCP, direction Out, local port(s) Unrestricted ports (1024-65535), remote port(s) 80, 443, 6112, remote address(es) All Networks, Allow for All …"

I did this and still have been suffering from massive lag, although now it does not start for 5-10 minutes at best. They recommended I contact AVG for support.
