It is a Paid Version, and it does say "you are protected". But Yesterday the ID was Red and said "my ID was not protected".

We are sorry to that you are worried about your PC security. Could you let us know whether it is a free version or a paid version of AVG that is installed on your PC? Please note that AVG free version does not include firewall protection which will block any unauthorized access to your PC from outside networks and hackers. If it is a paid version, please confirm that all the AVG components are active and it states "You are protected" on the AVG interface. Thank you.
I suspect that a friend of mine is trying to hack my computer to gain access to my files. Today my AVG ID suddenly went off, and a Shell Extension Scan was done. How can I find out if I was or is being hacked?
