Regarding the issue with your AVG Secure VPN, please follow the below steps to fix it:
- Open AVG Secure VPN > Settings > General > Ensure that the "Start VPN when my computer starts" option is enabled.
- Open AVG Secure VPN > Settings > Network Security > Ensure that the "Exclude trusted (private) networks" option is disabled.
Once you've performed the above actions, restart your computer & check if the AVG Secure VPN still stays disabled.

At computer turn on Hack Attacks is off and VPN is off. Both were on when the computer was turned off. Both put to on again and remain for the remainder of the session. Next turn on, ditto.
