Hello, Brian.
Full version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware contains resident part which causes operating system to freeze with active AVG Resident Shield. This issue occurs when both components are running simultaneously. Please uninstall Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware or disable its resident part if it is a paid version.
Regarding the Hackers Attack component, the issue is just with User Interface. Please open AVG Internet Security, go to Menu>> Settings>> troubleshooting then click on "Restore factory settings" and check if the issue is resolved. Please note that other program settings will also revert to default settings.
I reinstalled my AVG Internet Security, but I still show 'Hacker Attack' not working. On component list it shows green(on) so is it false message? Am I protected even though it says I am not for 'hacker Attacks'? I am also using Malwarebytes, but this never caused any issue before-at least with 'hacker attack '..?
Does AVG alone give me full protection that I don't need Malwarebytes ?
Help?

Thank you for letting us know, Brian.
We're glad we were able to put you at ease. Yes, AVG will protect you from all known variants of latest threats and malware. If you need anything else, do not hesitate to let us know.
I did the restore and it fixed it instantly…THANKS!! The Hacker Attack propery shows it is (green) working…and not a (false) RED/unprotected.
. I still want to know if AVG Internet Security will protect me from all viruses, malware and such, and that Malwarebytes has no protection I can't get with AVG…???
.
Thank you Avinash for being here.!
