Each time I turn on my PC and go to AVG dashboard the Hacker attack component is turned off and I switch it back on why is this?

Yes that is corrrect it is Password Protection tile that does not start up

There is an ongoing issue with Password protection feature & the concerned team is already working on it to fix it shortly.
However, you can be rest assured that the protection level of your computer isn't compromised.
Meanwhile, performing a clean installation is the workaround provided.
