Hacker Attacks not prtected

Hello Stephen,

I am sorry to hear this.
I request you to follow the below mentioned instructions to activate AVG Firewall:
1) Please open RUN command by pressing Windows and R keys together on keyboard.
2) On RUN window, type as "services.msc" without the quotes and press Enter.
3) On Services window, search for "AVG Firewall" and right click on it.
4) Select "Start" or "Restart" option that is highlighted.
5) Restart the PC once and check whether the Firewall is getting activated.

I am using windows 7 and have installed the paid version of AVG Internet Security. When I open AVG to scan my computer the icon Hacker Attacks show to be not protected. I have went to menu…setting…components and clicked on the Firewall. This still will not turn on. I am at a loss and could use some help.
