We'd like to inform that this component disable issue has been identified as a bug and our developers are working on a fix.

As a temporary resolution, we'd request to uninstall AVG using clear tool (https://support.avg.com/SupportArticleView?urlname=Uninstall-AVG-software-Clear-Remover ) and install it again.

Every time I start my computer, I notice that the Hacker Protection Password Protection is on OFF. I have to activate it every time manually. Surely this is not right!! Regards, Harry
