Had AVG message to say my VPN was off. I switched to ON Now my BT and SKY sign ins say I live outsid

Hello Ian, 

For your information, its something we have very little control of as its mainly up to the service provider (Eg.Sky, BBC, Netflix) whether they allow VPN connections or not. In some regions, VPN doesnt work due to the restrictions on the concerned website.

Can you please turn off AVG Secure VPN and check whether you can use BT and SKY in your PC? Keep us updated.

Received AVG message to say my VPN was OFF. I switched to ON. Now both my BT and SKY sign in says I am resident in a foreign territory and as such I can not receive screen pictures on my computer.
Can anyone help me to resolve even if I have to switch VPN  off again
