Hanging scan and updates

I've had to use remove/reinstall at least a dozen times over the last month and a half, I've had AVG techs try to sort the problem including an escalation. I've had an AVG tech say that he'd removed a virus when this wasn't the case. When I asked AVG for help last night the tech clearly couldn't care less and told me to repair the problem myself via AVG repair, when I tried to do so the whole computer hung and I couldn't get online until I found an undeleted AVG removal tool and removed the whole protection suite. I now have no protection but I'm still paying for it. I haven't complained previously but I am now, the whole thing has been a farce where I am paying for a defective product and having to spend up to ninety minutes at a time with support staff in control of my computer.

If it's broken please just say so, AVG, rather than wasting everyones time. Also, if one of your support staff are unprepared to actually help the customers and tell them to do the repair themselves perhaps they're in the wrong job.
