In this case we request you to do a complete reinstallation of AVG program using our remover tool.
1) To download the AVG remover tool please click on this link:

2) Run the downloaded tool and follow the instructions displayed on your screen.
3) Your computer will be restarted automatically. After the restart, AVG Remover will finish the uninstallation.
NOTE: Once the AVG Remover Tool has done with its process. Please go to the C drive and look for a folder named as "AVG Remover" and I request you to delete it manually.

Running the free version on Windows Vista and I noticed that the hard drive was being given a thrashing and nealy all my memory was being used up by lots of AVG exes and processes. It's sucking up so much system resource that it makes my PC impossible to use. It's been happeneing for as long as I can remember - AVG runs, system is treacle. When I pause the active scan, PC comes back to life.
So, what info do I need to provide to narrow down where the fault lies?

Yes we can understand that the process Avgcsrva.exe is running and it takes 100% of your system resources.
This process known as AVG Scanning Core Module - Server Part belongs to AVG antivirus program.
May I know the version of the AVG free antivirus program that you have installed on your PC, is it 2015 or 2016?
