I have had several different service personell try to fix this issue for me now. But still no fix.
I know that Chrome had some issues with the same windows upgrade.

They have fixed the issue now.
Hello!
Any progress ???
Having similar problems with Internet Security. No update, not able to install after uninstall. Update failed, installation failed. even after running AVG removal tool … which actually in log says that also failed.
I see several treads in same or similar problem and support is mentioning that it has been escalated. Is it an issue with AVG or rather W10 Insiders Preview build 10547 (or earlier 10532-6) ?
I t is importnat to claim the corrective action from correct Vendor.
Thanks
JZa
Any update on this?? I have the same issue after installing 10532. Thanks!
I also have the same issue. Numerous attempts have been made to install AVG Internet Security, including using the removal tool and instructions as indicated above. However, the AVG installer continues to fail, at "Settings of firewall registry keys". I would also note that on startup, Windows Defender resets itself to "On", even though I continually turn it off in settings. Please advise when a fix is available.
Trying to repair gives the following msg: Settings of firewall registry keys failed. Error code 0x0070643 @AVGMSI_Error27025 settings of firewall registry keys failed 0xE001003D
What to do?
Hello Kjetil. I kindly request you to follow the instructions sent to your email to get our additional support to resolve this issue. Thank you.
@ Greg Hayden
Greg, You are quite correct to not use Windows Defender. From Win 8 it was upgraded to an active anti-virus program which obviously could conflict with AVG (http://avgclick.me/prepareforAVGinstall) .

Thank you for your reply, but I have tried that latest version and the strange thing is that it does update but avg reports only partially protected and there is that yellow triangle warning sign on the icon.

I am experiencing the exact same issue. And I have the issue with Windows 10 Build 10525 as well. Does AVG plan to address the issue or not? SO far my only solution has been to remove AVG and install a different product from a different vendor. What a shame.

Thank you Rajaendra for your reply to get support. Appreciate it. Thanks, but I have now resolved the problem by migrating from build 10532 back to windows build 10525. Now AVG works just fine. Case closed. Thank you.
