Having difficulty uninstalling the AVG antivirus free from my computer

Hello Menny,
We regret the inconvenience caused. We would request you try once to remove previously installed AVG program traces from your system using AVG Remover tool.
Remover and Download:
1) To download AVG remover tool, please click on this link: https://share.avg.com/steam/PSP/AVG2017/AVG_Clear.exe .
2) Run the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions.
3) Restart your PC when the restart option is displayed on the remover tool screen.
4)Once you have logged into your PC after the restart, please go to C:\ drive and delete the "AVG REMOVER" folder manually.
Note : Please use the AVG Remover tool mentioned on the article to uninstall the AVG program more effectively.

I have tried evrything that it says on your website to uninstall the program from my computer but it wont work is there any other options?
