Having paid for upgrade having problems down loading

The steps that you followed are absolutely correct.
I appreciate your efforts in following it.
Open AVG Antivirus free dashboard and click on "Menu–>About–>Subscriptions"
Let us know whether it displays your email address or option as "Log into account"?

Following your e-mail(29/11/17) I clicked into my free dashboard and clicked onto the home icon which presented me another dashboard. On the top right hand corner it had 'connected =menu' I clicked on this and all I received was a box informing me my computer is connected. On trying this I brought back to my original 'free dasboard', with no instruction how to down load  my upgrade. Am getting on a bit am I missing something?.
