Khaled, we're sorry to know that.
Do you mean that while installing Clean my mac application, AVG is detecting it as a threat?

Thank you for the confirmation, Khaled.
In this case, please open AVG Internet Security on Mac, click on each component and turn off all shields of AVG.
Once it is done, please proceed to install Clean My Mac application.
You can then go to AVG Internet Security in your menu bar, then select Preferences -> Scanning and disable PUAs.
Please enable all shields on AVG Internet Security and check whether it still detects clean my mac as threat.
Keep us posted.

I did what you have mentionned. IT DID NOT WORK!  (to disable scanning for PUAs - Preferences – Scanning.)

We apologize for the inconvenience, Khaled.

In this case, we request you to restore the detected file from the quarantine folder and add the whole file path (as shown in the screenshot) to the AVG exception list and check if the issue still persists.
Refer to these articles to manage the quarantined files & add the 'Cleanmymac X' application to the exception list.
Thank you for understanding. Keep us updated.
