Hi Avinash, I only commented on a post but decided to post my on topic in case that "thread" was closed. How is that posting 2 posts? Here am I already frustrated and to see this reply is really picking on my nerves. Extremely bad customer srvice you have there.
I am using a Lenovo S410. After restarting my laptop for the AVG update, I noticed 2 issues.
1. Audio Service is not running. Tried to enable it but it states "Windows could not start the Windows Audio service" Error 0x800706cc: The endpoint is a duplicate.
2. I cannot open my control panel at all.
I am extremely frustrated as I am definitely not an expert in fixing PC issues, not knowing what is do is scary.
I tried to disable AVG temporarily but still having the 2 issues above. Please help!!!

Charmaine, I am sorry once again for any inconvenience caused to you in this matter. As you started interacting on that thread, it would not be closed until your issue is resolved. Anyway, we can continue here itself. Did you try restoring the file from AVG virus vault as I suggested?
