Help! I have no internet access after uninstalling AVG Tuneup

I am having the same issue and all of the solutions provided by google searches do not seem to fix the issue.  It seems that the  IP address is defaulting to 169.254.158.X 

basically TCP/IP is screwed up I believe.   Can’t troubleshoot with windows troubleshooter.

mu network is fine and other machines do not have issue

I connect to my network by only have limited availability. My internet is working on my phone and tablet, but not on my laptop. Therefore, there is no problem with my internet connection and this problem only arose after uninstalling AVG PC Tuneup.

I uninstalled avg antivirus and tuneup and I'm having the same issue. Laptop is connected to the internet but browser page won't load webpages.

I am in desperate need of assistant. AVG PC Tuneup was severely slowing down my computer. So, I uninstalled it. Now I can't access the internet. I connect to my network by only have limited availability. My internet is working on my phone and tablet, but not on my laptop. Therefore, there is no problem with my internet connection and this problem only arose after uninstalling AVG PC Tuneup. I need help TODAY because I have work to complete. I have Windows 10.
I have I have Windows 10 and neither the F8, F5 or F6 options result in a reboot. Is there another way to do this?

Do you have the latest version of AVG PC TuneUp installed on your PC? Are you still facing internet connectivity issues?

Please select Safe mode reboot with networking and check whether you can access the Internet. Once you reboot in safe mode, please try to do a System restore and check. Please let us know if the issue still persists. Thank you.

Thank you. I called AVG and the issue has been appropriately rectified.

If you are connected via wireless connection, please connect through wired connection and check if you are able to connect to the Internet.

If you have AVG Internet Security/AntiVirus free installed on your computer, please uninstall the same from your computer control panel and check if you are able to access Internet.
