Jeannie, In order to analyze your issue the AVG experts will probably need you to provide them with GMER (http://kb.avg.com/articles/en_US/How_to/GMER-Scan-Result/) and AVG scan result export (http://kb.avg.com/articles/en_US/How_to/AVG-scan-result-export/).
Thank you. This is the screen shot information, in case you are famailier with this particular alert:
c:\Windows\system32\config\systemprofile\AppData\Local\Avg2014\temp\avg-d3467660-41df-421b-a14c-a53bfd9dd43d.temp
Thank you bunches. I am going to provide them with a GMER and AVG scan result export.
Is the file above something I can search for, and delete manually?
Hi Jeannie,
It seems like false detection please refer to this article (http://kb.avg.com/articles/en_US/How_to/How-to-report-a-false-incorrect-detection/).
You can delete it but, it will be probably recreated.
Thanks
Help~ Over the past week, each time the avg 2014 is either doing a full scan, or post update scan, the virus alert window pops up with the detection of: win32/heur. How do I remove this virus, and or, how to I erase the threat, OTHER/in addition to the obvious choice, clicking to have avg remove as the suggested prompt? Annoying, and concerned
