As far as I know it will, but you should deselect browser cleaning in TuneUp settings until there is a program update because it crashes trying to clean Chrome.

Thanks for this. My browser is Chrome. So I install CCleaner and clean my  browser, but is that going to mean that Tune up will work on the other items on the scan, like broken shortcuts or clean Registry?

I have bought AVG PC Tune up. If I start it scanning, it gets as far as Clean Up Browser and stops, so it is not functioning. I have unistalled the first download and re-downloaded but the same problem is occurring. I can't find help for this in the FAQs, so it's looking like a waste of money.

There is definitely a problem cleaning recent versions of Chrome. If that is not your browser, please let us know. Until AVG comes up with an update that solves this problem, you could uninstall Chrome or install CCleaner Free to clean it.
