Hello Travis,
We would like to know the reason for running AVG rescue disk on your computer?
May I know how did you confirm that one of your computer has 3K infections?
AVG rescue disk has been discontinued and you will no longer be able to download the file of it.
Do you still have the AVG rescue disk on your USB or formatted the drive and looking for the link to download it?
Could you get into BIOS settings and set the first booting device as your "Hard drive" and see whether you are able to load into windows successfully?
i ran the avg rescue usb on both of my computers. A storm ran through and knocked the power out.after the reboot one loaded and worked the other had an extended period to boot like when I discovered the virus on a normal boot, and “please load a bootable device” would appear. I got a brand new usb out of the package reinstalled the program, same results.i pulled the mb battery out for a factory default reset reboot and extended reboot time same thing. The bios is glitchy now too like the pc was. I know its a bad infect because my considerably smaller computer sitting next to it had over 3k infections. Any help to get it running would be appreciated.
