The hibernation option is actually available with PRO version of AVG Cleaner in Android.
If you have PRO version, you can enable Hibernate by following below mentioned steps:
Device Settings -> Apps/Application Management -> AVG Antivirus & Cleaner -> Permissions -> Grant all
Device Settings -> Accessibility -> Grant for all AVG apps.
To enable "modify system changes permission":
Open Your device settings
Tap on Apps, list of apps will be displayed now
Go to settings in this page, or tap options and select Advanced
Locate Modify system settings or change system settings
Enable permission for AVG
Now scan your device again and try to hibernate apps.

What happened to the hibernation feature on AVG Cleaner? It is no longer showing as an option. Did they make this a paid option from being in the free version?
