High RAM usage during analysis

when you scan your computer you get few option like

  • Dynamic 
  • Medium
  • Slow
  • Fast.
make sure its at Dynamic its recommended , if lot of resource is being consumed then try the slow & medium option.

Hi everybody,

Whenever I run an analysis with AVG Free, it starts occupying a lot of RAM, even if the process does not specify anything (the RAM usage increases, but, side to the process, the use of RAM by AVG is more or less always the same). I know that it is an AVG problem because it begins whenever a scan is started. It begins to occpy more and more RAM (yesterday it took 4GB in total - normal processes + system process).

Does anyone know why AVG has this strange behaviour?
