I'm not using the VPN and the access from my other pc came back when I turned off AVG.
I also can't reply to the emails as it says "If you are receiving this message after replying to an AVG email, we were not able to identify your email properly. Please reply to the original AVG email without editing the subject line so that we can process your request."
I also get messages saying support is down
AVG has started blocking my one pcs on my network - I have followed the instructions in various posts but they do not match my menu.
It looks like this is a common problem, so before I drop AVC has anyone fixed it so it won't happen again ?
Cheers
Hi Martin,
We're glad to look into this & help you.
Initially, please clarify whether you're connected to internet through AVG Secure VPN.
Meanwhile, please try disabling AVG protection temporarily to check if it helps.
As you can see it has blocked another pcon my home network
If I disable AVG I can connect - this has happened before and I will have to drop AVC as it is too time consuming to try to fix it everytime it happens.
I have already set a rule to allow the ip address through but it is agnored.
Thanks - howevere I had already set these parameters - the xxxx.70 address is the specific blocked pc IP address
Our pleasure, Martin. Have a great day. Stay safe!
Appreciate your efforts in working towards fixing the issue, Martin.
We understand your concern regarding the remote access.
Please monitor the issue & if it recurs, please try removing the variable that you've set in exception (1st one) : 192.168.1.0 - 255 & check.
