Hello James.
We are sorry to hear about the inconvenience caused. Did you disable AVG temporarily ( http://avgclick.me/TempDisableAVG ) and check if you could access the computers on your home network?
Samething here. The homegroup was working prefectly with Avast AntiVirus before until I uninstalled it and installed the paid AVG Internet Security. Microsoft HomeGroup is not a deal breaker, but the amount of problems is aggregating. Either I do not how to configure the AVG Internet Security, or this product fails.
AVG seems to be blocking access to homegroup computers. I get a message that the computer is not available.
