I feel that I must apologise for doubting the performance and information that I was given with regards to running a boot malware scan and it's capabilities. I had not followed the correct procedure, so an apology must be offered for my careless attitude in blaming the software and any feedback that was given in response to this. I was not heavy-handed in my comments, but I was badly mistaken, so hence I offer an unconditional apology
