How can I return to original renewal date after renewing early?

I renewed my AVG VPN subscription early after getting several on-line invitations to do so. The original renewal date was June 2022, I renewed today and the renewal date has now been updated to 22 Jan 2023 which means I have lost six months' worth of my subscription. How can I return to the original renewal date?
