How dangerous is "dealply"? How do I remove it when AVG deems it OK?

My PC sent out loads of E-mails with supposed attachements to be opened.  When told I did a full scan, but per AVG all was OK.  Did a scan via Symantec's free trial and was told there was a threat at "Target name C:users/user/appdata/roaming/dealply/updateproc/updatetask.exe".  Any advice would be appreciated.

John, For removal info have you 'googled' remove dealply?..
No AV product is capable of providing you with 100% protection although AVG are always working 24/7.

AVG would recommend to start with uninstalling all unknown/unused programs and browser addons.
