Thank you for the brief explanation of the issue. Due to security reason it is advised not to post personal information in public thread. Upon carefully reviewing your account, I see that you have active subscription of AVG Performance multidevice (1 year subscription) and AVG Driver Updater ( 1 computer) active in your registered email id. Please be informed that AVG Performance comes under AVG Zen product. If you have installed AVG Zen product then you will have the + sign in it. AVG Zen has both AVG Protection and AVG Performance built in it.

I do not have the plus sign showing when I try to add another device.
I tried the change/repair procedure to the program as was suggested. After the repair there was still no plus sign showing.
I have the following AVG programs showing when I look in the control panel list.
AVG
AVG Driver updater
AVG Tuneup
AVG Protection
AVG Web tuneup

By the way, the AVG box keeps telling me to Maximize my protection with Pro. I thought I had purchased this.

Since you have purchased AVG Performance only it will be active till 2017.2.8 and AVG Protection will be installed as trial version and once the trial expires you need to purchase the paid product. To install AVG Performance click on the following link to download and install AVG Performance http://files-download.avg.com/inst/mp/AVG_Performance_803.exe .
