I have tried the above suggestion but I dont see a file called .comAVG.Service. Would love to know what my next course of action would be. Help please?! Thanks.
Hi, thanks for your reply.
However, when I hover my cursor over a scheduled scan, the …icon does not appear, so there is nowhere for me to edit….reminder: I am a Mac user, should that make any difference….
I cannot attach a screen shot owing to size limitations.
I use a paid version and I have the same issue. I need to delete a scheduled scan, and I don't have the option to proceed.
I am also having exactly the same issue as Jeremy. Dinesh, how can I get the informationm you sent to Jeremy. I am running AVG, version 19.8 on A mac with OS 11.2.1. Thanks
That article does not say anthing about how to edit / delete a scheduled scan. When I hover my cursor over any of my scheduled scans, I do not see … (the dots). So, what is the issue? Is it with the Mac OS, which is Big Sur, or with the AVG application? Is there another way of deleting / editing the scheduled scans? Can someone remotely access my Mac to see what is going on?
Kindly refer to this article to configure custom/schedule scan in 'AVG Internet Security for Mac'.

We're glad to hear that this work around has helped.
Hello Jeremy.
Thank you for reaching us here.
A summary of your Custom Scan parameters appears on the Scan Options screen. To edit or delete the scan, hover your cursor over the scan details, and click the … icon (three dots), then select Edit Scan or Remove Scan.
Hello Sylvain & Wm,
We apologize for the inconvenience.
This issue has already been escalated to our developers with high priority and a bug has been created for the same.
Our developers are working on it and hopefully, it would be fixed in the next AVG release/update.
If you want to delete scheduled scans, follows steps below.
1. Open Finder > in menubar select 'Go' > Go to folder... > enter path: /Library/Application Support/AVGAntivirus/config/service-data/scheduled-scans/ and delete all files.
2. Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > Activity monitor > Select CPU > and quit process 'com.avg.service'.
