How do I backup a data safe with Macrium?

Hi - I have AVG Internet Security.  I apologise for duplicate postings, I certainly didnt do it on purpose.

Hi all.

I am trying to backup a data safe with the Macrium backup tool.  I need to ensure that this data is backed up, so I am  going to have to remove it from the safe and find another way to store it if I cannot make backups of it with standard tools.

any help would be gratefully received.

Hi - but that doesnt help because I have put all of our protected data in the data safe - but - I want to do a file backup of them and macrium doesnt see the data safe.   I dont want to have to backup the whole disk every time I do a backup - it would take hours and would be unfeasible.   

I guess I will need to look at an alternative to the data safe, but it is a pity because I really wanted AVG to make life easy…ho hum.

no - I would like macrium to take a backup which is recoverable later…dont care that I cant see the contents until I (ever) need to restore.  

I could use another backup facility if one is known to work (so long as it doesnt cost loads because we are a micro-company.

Are you actually trying to move the contents from AVG data safe to Macrium backup tool? Thank you.

Gillian, you can't add the AVG Data Safe to the Macrium backup, instead you can access the files stored in the AVG Data Safe and store in Macrium.
