AVG caught the email as it came through, but it is still in my inbox and will not allow me to delete it! I keep getting the error from Windows live mail, " A unknown error has accured". Help!!! please.

Hello Jennifer. I would request you to disable AVG Email component and check if you could delete the email. To disable individual components of AVG, click this link: http://avgclick.me/DisableComponents
You could also try a repair of "Windows Live Essentials" via Programs and Features. When you choose "repair" it will repair all the installed components of Essentials, including Mail.
